299 wins for Kipper already!
Remembering the days before we had Kipper makes me happy with the team, despite all of the frustration we vent on here. Remember how painful it was watching Freddy B and then 'Large' flop around in the crease. |

It's time to bear down. Puck possession is a good thing, but the Flames need to take it to the dirty areas and actually bury some chances tonight... the earlier the better too...
Hopefully we see the same compete level that we've seen over the last little bit, but with way more urgency around the net. |

Starting Kipper tonight and Irving tomorrow? Makes no sense. Tomorrow is must win and they should be playing their best goalie.
Whether Irving or Kipper beat SJ, it is a bonus, beating Phoenix is a must |

I think it's a matter of the offenses that we're facing. San Jose is definitely the more potent offensive group. Starting Kipper tonight and Irving tomorrow gives us the best chance to win both games, rather than emphasizing the win against Phoenix. As Shaune pointed out in his blog. The Flames need wins. As many as possible from here to the end of the season. |

Let's also admit that it's not like Kipper has had overwhelming success against the Yotes either... |

In the last couple of years he hasn't had a ton of success against the Sharks either... |

Disagree, they need to focus on the best win opportunities.
This reminds of starting Karlsson against St Louis at the start of the year and he shat the bed. |

When you need to win 20 of the next 29 you need to give yourself the best chance possible every single night...
I stand by Sutter's decision here. |

They're showing this game in Philadelphia. The Flames look pretty good. Iginla's goal was nasty. Kipprsouff looks good. I guess the West is just too strong |
